12 www.preston.ac.uk ” “The Level 3 Customer Service apprenticeship is continuing to help me acquire my goal for making a positive influence to the wider society by dealing with adult learners who are 19 years of age and over with different backgrounds and abilities. The course has provided me with both practical and academic knowledge about interacting and facilitating learners through online systems, on the telephone and in person. Despite it being early on in my apprenticeship, the team and other staff members have already made me feel that I belong. I feel truly blessed to be able to study in the same institute as to where I work. I also have the opportunity to work with various colleagues across college, as our duties interlink, which helps us to provide learners with the best experience possible in order for them to progress further in wider life. The best part for me, is that I am able to interact and witness the impact of what we do by being able to support on events, as well as meeting and greeting prospective new learners to the College.
