Almost every sector of every type of business requires an element of engineering support, whether that be electrical, mechanical or manufacturing. As an engineer you may have the opportunity to work in construction, aeronautics, biomedicine, software design and more. As an apprentice, your main duties could include; developing new products for companies or individuals to use; provide maintenance to current products to enhance use; and design new machines to improve an organisations efficiencies.
