Following an accident, Terry planned to progress his career into the Health and Safety field, so initially came to Preston College to join a relevant course. Following a discussion with a careers adviser, Terry decided to share his knowledge and skills with the next generation of plasterers instead, enrolling on the Certificate in Education – a qualification which would allow him to practise as a professional tutor.
