Continuing her learning in 2019, enrolling onto the Occupational Health and Safety Practice Level 5 NVQ Diploma, Adriana’s learning switched to online study in early 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Studying at home, alongside working full-time and raising two children was a challenge but Adriana describes tutor Mary as ‘extremely supportive’ and felt that the encouragement received from the wider college was also outstanding. Evidencing each module with a portfolio and project, Adriana now works as Regional Health and Safety Officer, implementing her learning from the course into her day-to-day activities.
