Classes will help you to develop English skills for both work, home and employability. Many of our courses, upon successful completion, provide recognised qualifications in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Prior to starting a course, you will be assessed to determine which level of study is right for you, to make sure you are in a class with others of a similar level and ability. There are opportunities to enrol onto ESOL courses at regular intervals throughout the year. TESOL If you are planning on travelling abroad to teach English or wish to embark on a career teaching pupils who do not use English as a first language, the 20 week TESOL course at Preston College opens up a world of opportunities. Validated by Trinity College London, the programme provides a comprehensive introduction to the teaching of English as a second language and is often required for teaching positions overseas. So, if you are planning a gap year, a career change or simply wish to get a step ahead of the competition, this 20 week course will help you demonstrate the skills, knowledge and theory that employers globally seek.
