At Preston College our 16 to 18 year old learners are guaranteed the very highest level of support. So whether it's financial assistance to help you through your studies, or the advice and guidance you'll receive from our dedicated student support team, you'll get all the help you need to succeed.

NEW Discretionary Bursary

If you are 16 - 18 years old and from a low income household, you may be eligible to receive support from the discretionary bursary as detailed below.

New students

• Fully subsidised College bus pass (up to value of £215 per year)
• 80% of equipment costs for very high cost courses**
• Luncheon Voucher (up to value of £3 per day) and free healthy breakfast in certain special circumstances**
• 50% of cost of Autumn term College bus pass only (max. £40)
