Occupational Health

Expert Occupational Health support for staff and managers is provided by a qualified Occupational Health Physician.

 

Brian Rambihar

Dr Brian Rambihar has worked as the College’s Occupational Health Physician (OHP) since September 2000. He graduated at The Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, University of London in 1986. He is a General Practitioner (GP) partner at Sandy Lane Surgery in Leyland, Preston and a medical educationist. His other roles include the Appraisal and Revalidation adviser to the Chorley and South Ribble Primary Care Trust, Post-Graduate Tutor for Chorley and South Ribble, a GP trainer and GP appraiser. In addition to his role as Occupational Health Physician at Preston College, Dr Rambihar acts as OHP to The University of Cumbria, Lex Auto Logistics, Leyland Technical Centre, Primary Health Care, Norlec and Lancashire County Council.

 

The Occupational Health service is available on Thursday mornings and is normally accessed via a Management referral. Staff wishing to make an appointment to see the Occupational Health Physician should first contact their immediate Line Manager.
