Safeguarding Learners
Under current legislation, young people under the age of 18 are classed as children. If there are allegations of a young person being abused, the College has a legal duty to report the situation to Social Services. College has a Safeguarding Learners Policy and Procedures which can be viewed on the College website. Alternatively a paper copy can be obtained from Student Services. Any person who wishes to report a suspected incidence of abuse should contact Tina Southworth who is the College Designated Senior Person for Child Protection on 01772 225658.
