37 GCSE points including GCSE Maths at grade C or above.

The A Level in Accounting will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of accounting and its concepts and techniques to give you an excellent grounding for a career or further study in the finance industry. Units you will study include

As well as the wide variety of sporting enrichment activities available to all students, there are opportunities for students to take part in an inter-college competition at PWC in Manchester (Preston College were the 2009 winners).

 

Your Future

 

An accounting A Level is ideal for those wishing to progress to a degree in Accounting or Business Management. It is also a good foundation for progression to membership of professional bodies such as AAT and ACCA. Accounting is invaluable for employment in finance related areas of commerce, industry and the public sector.
