Your Course:

 

An A Level in Geography will help you to understand how geography literally shapes the world around us. You will develop a wide ranging and detailed knowledge of the natural environment and the interaction of people within it. You will explore issues such as flooding, climate change, immigration and globalisation. Units you will study include:

 

  • Rivers and coasts
  • Population geography
  • Global energy issues
  • Plate tectonics and hazards
  • Weather and climate
  • Development and globalisation
  • Ecosystems

 

Assessment for this course is through coursework and externally set exams.
