As well as the wide variety of sporting enrichment activities available to all students, there are opportunities for trips including visits to Manchester University for a physics day and Liverpool University to attend the Institute of Physics Christmas lecture.
A Level Physics can lead to progression at university in degree subjects such as physics, engineering, computer science and astrophysics. Career paths with A Level Physics include scientific research, optometry, engineering, medicine and dentistry. Students who have studied A Level Physics at Preston College have gone on to further study at Cambridge University and Imperial College London.
