Sociology is the study of changing society. It will help you to develop a wide range of perspectives and a critical approach to understanding issues affecting our day to day lives. As well as the wide variety of sporting enrichment activities available to all students, there are opportunities for trips including a walking tour of Manchester, a trip to London and a trip to the model village in Saltaire, Yorkshire.
Sociology A Level offers an entry route to a wide variety of Higher Education courses. Career prospects include management, teaching, journalism, social work and the criminal justice system among others.
