Overview
ELEV8 aims to provide a range of educational opportunities for young people, informal and formal, accredited and non-accredited, enabling them to develop their self awareness and thus make realistic future life choices, culminating in re-engagement in training, learning or employment. ELEV8 is also crucially concerned with developing the self confidence and self esteem of young people, developing their independence in the course of our interactions.
The ELEV8 ethos is underpinned by choice, enabling individuals to sample different vocational subjects, and developing personalised programmes, while ensuring they are fully supported and made aware of partners and agencies eg the Young Peoples Service, training providers, Prince’s Trust, Urban Exchange, etc. The raising of aspirations is a key aim of ELEV8 and there will be a sustained focus on progression opportunities.
We work collaboratively with over 25 local and regional partners and agencies in seeking to provide the optimum experience for each young person, within an inclusive and equality of opportunity framework.
