Preston Grinding is an ‘in demand’ company and need an apprentice to join part of the team of engineers. You will be part of a small team and work with skilled engineers as you train to become a Precision Grinder. Based in Broughton, Preston.
The job roll will include working in the factory on the shop floor where we have both CNC and manual grinding machines. Grinding we do here includes CNC, surface, universal, centreless, honing, vertical. We have facility to inspect with CMM inspection equipment and laser part mark too. So you will be experiencing many methods in the industry.

We service Fulwood and the surrounding areas. The role is a client-facing role and you will be the main point of contact for most of our clients. You should be friendly, well-presented and have a confident and outgoing personality. You will need to be highly organised and confident using the telephone. The position will entail arranging viewings and valuations, following-up clients and using our in-house CRM system to manage the sales of properties etc. You should have an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office as this will be used daily.

Park View Surgery is a small and friendly GP Practice in the centre of Preston with just over 6500 patients. There are 2 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP, Two Advanced Nurse Practitioner’s, a Nursing Team, a Management team and a further 6 Reception staff. NHS Pension scheme available to join. 5 weeks holiday pro rata.
In this role you will deliver an effective, competent level of administrative and clerical support and ensure a ‘patient-focused’ service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships and supports high levels of patient care.
To be successful in this role you will possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills, demonstrate effective communication skills and be adaptable to meet the service needs.
The post holder will also need to be flexible in your hours to cover for holidays as and when required.
