ESOL & TESOL TESOL TEACHING ENGLISH TO SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES If you are planning on travelling abroad to teach English or wish to embark on a career teaching pupils who do not use English as a first language, this introductory TESOL course at Preston College opens up a world of opportunities. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the teaching of English as a second language, often required for teaching positions overseas. So, if you are planning a gap year, a career change or simply wish to get a step ahead of the competition, this programme will help you demonstrate the skills, knowledge and theory that employers globally seek. COURSE START END DAY(S) TIME(S) Introduction to TESOL Apr 24 May 24 Wed 1.00pm - 5.00pm ESOL ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES ESOL courses are available at every level here in Preston, up to and including Level 2. Classes will help you to develop English skills for both work, home and employability. Many of our courses, upon successful completion, provide recognised qualifications in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Prior to starting a course, you will be assessed to determine which level of study is right for you, to make sure you are in a class with others of a similar level and ability. There are opportunities to enrol onto ESOL courses at regular intervals throughout the year. To register you will need to complete an assessment.
