We have a dedicated employer engagement team working with employers to offer the best apprenticeship opportunities for our learners. We are one of the largest apprenticeship providers in the local area, successfully and proudly training hundreds of apprentices every year across a wide range of industry sectors. OUR EMPLOYER RELATIONS Our ongoing relationships with employers in the region are critical to ensure that our apprenticeship provision is highly relevant, up-to-date and of a high quality. Employers are considered and invited to collaborate and develop the curriculum to ensure that apprentices are learning the skills that employers need for their industry’s future. We work with over a thousand employers across the region, from the self–employed and SMEs to the large corporate and international organisations. OUR APPRENTICESHIP CURRICULUM At Preston College, we pride ourselves on the evolution of our programme and curriculum offer. Through detailed conversations with local employers, external stakeholders, and community leaders, we are able to gain vital industrial insight and technical expertise to inform our curriculum design and to ensure our apprentices are given the relevant technical skills to prepare them for current and future employer needs.
