The apprenticeship gives me the skills I need to become a hair professional but also gives me other skills such as customer service, communication skills and how to work within a team. My confidence has grown, even in such a short space of time, and I have made friends for life. I worried that I would miss out on the college lifestyle – but the mix of working with the day release to college has really benefited me, plus I get to work, learn and earn a salary!
