I liked school but I didn’t enjoy being in the classroom five days a week. An apprenticeship offers that perfect combination; being in work for the majority of the time with a day release to college. The engineering apprenticeship allows me to learn the skills as an Engineering Technician at a young age and as I progress, these grounding skills will benefit me hugely in the future. I really enjoy the work I do. There’s always a variety of work to be completed so I’m never doing the same task day in and day out and no two days are the same. I work with a great team and we get on so well. After my apprenticeship I am looking to complete my HNC which will provide me with further knowledge in this industry and help me progress.
