You’ll find entry criteria information on our website, but as a reference here is a short overview of what we are looking for at each level. If you do not meet these requirements, we may take into consideration your individual circumstances. LEVEL 1 Learners will need to attend an interview showing their interest in the subject and a willingness to learn. LEVEL 2 Learners need four GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above including at least one of English Language or maths. The other subject should have a minimum grade of 2. E.g. if they have a grade 3 in maths, then they would need at least a grade 2 in English Language. They will also be required to attend an interview to discuss their suitability for the course. T-LEVEL FOUNDATION YEAR Learners require GCSE maths and English Language passes at grade 4, alongside at least two other passes at grade 3 or above. Some subjects will have additional entry requirements. LEVEL 3 Learners need five GCSEs at 9-4 (A*-C) grade including English Language or maths at grade 4. The other subject should have a minimum grade of 3. E.g. if they have a grade 4 in maths, then they would need at least a grade 3 in English Language. They will also be required to attend an interview to discuss their suitability for the course. T-LEVELS Learners require six GCSE passes at grades 9-4 and should have a strong passion for the T-Level subject. At least three of the passes should be at grade 5 or above, including maths and English Language. ADDITIONAL ENTRY CRITERIA Some courses have additional entry criteria and we advise that you check our website for the latest information. For example, in Performing Arts you will be required to audition, in Art & Design we’d like to see a portfolio of your work, and to study a Health & Social Care course or an Early Years course you will be required to have a Disclosure & Barring (DBS) check.
