Preston College provides an extensive technical and professional offer at all levels. Our strength and expertise in providing technical and vocational qualifications will enable you to achieve your goals and progress to university, an apprenticeship or employment. Alongside our traditional qualifications such as BTECs, the college provides a growing number of new T-Levels; these have been introduced by the Government to support employers in developing the workforce of the future. T-Level qualifications provide a route to higher level study or employment and are the equivalent to three A-Levels in terms of UCAS points. They have been developed alongside industry experts in ensuring that young people are provided with the right skills and knowledge to succeed in employment. You can find a list of the subjects that we offer and more information about T-Levels on pages 12-15. Our established partnerships with local employers ensure that our programme delivery and Industry Placement is both relevant and of high quality. Our sector specialist, experienced staff and industry standard facilities make the college an exciting and enjoyable place to be, all delivered in a supportive and caring environment. On the campus, you will find a host of purpose-built facilities including a TV studio, functional science laboratories, performance studios, hair and beauty salons, and industry supported construction and engineering workshops. All our facilities have been designed to allow you to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for success in the workplace.
