Mental Health and Social Care are areas with a lot of employment opportunities, with increasing numbers of people needing support from mental health professionals and social care workers. The latter support people in a range of settings including private homes, residential homes, day centres and supported housing. It is a rewarding sector and your choice of career can make a real difference to people’s lives. The T-Level in Health will cover a broad range of topics to develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skills that can be applied to a wide range of roles in the health sector. There are also opportunities to specialise with optional units in adult nursing or mental health. At Preston College we have a wide range of learning facilities and equipment that provides a realistic learning experience. These include a fully kitted out hospital ward, hospital beds, dental suite, electric hoist, pregnancy suit, ageing kit and resuscitation dummies.
