44 Preston College Dance boasts three decades of expertise in training Dancers, Dance Teachers, and Performers. Our unwavering mission is to foster the growth of each individual, offering training and qualifications that pave the way for a sustainable and lifelong career in dance performance and teaching. The dedicated and enthusiastic teaching faculty ensures personalized attention and guidance for students as they progress through each year. Our program offers a myriad of opportunities, from performances to additional qualifications and supplementary training, complementing the core curriculum. Collaborating with external choreographers, students are thoroughly prepared for auditions and real-world work scenarios, and we frequently receive inquiries from a diverse range of employers seeking dancers and dance teachers. FACILITIES Our cutting-edge facilities include five contemporary dance studios, all equipped with sprung harlequin fooring, air conditioning, and full-length mirrors. Additionally, we have four drama and voice coaching studios, a fully operational TV studio, a 100-seat theatre, and an outdoor 'Amphitheatre' for performances. Furthermore, we offer a host of other resources and support services to enrich your learning journey. These encompass an onsite gym, access to a sports therapist and comprehensive library facilities housing books, journals, and computers, as well as a hair salon, nail bar, and a variety of food and beverage outlets, including our very own Starbucks café. www.preston.ac.uk “ ” CLEO STUDIED Dance Performance & Teaching DESTINATION BA (Hons) Dance Performance, Teaching & Choreography Cleo joined Preston College from Montgomery Academy to study the Dance Performance and Dance Teaching course as a scholarship learner. Cleo plans to perform on cruise ships, like other successful PCD alumni, and eventually open up her own choreography company. Having the variety of experienced teachers means I have learned so much about improving my technique and fine tuning my artistry. At PCD we are fortunate enough to have access to many workshops and have been put in audition type situations testing us and preparing us for the real world. Nothing about my future is confirmed but I will work hard to make sure it will be successful.
