MEET THE APPRENTICES! Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) work together with partners in the community such as Preston’s College to protect and create opportunities for the most vulnerable. MFRS develop their employees through a range of bespoke training to fulfil this mission which includes hiring a cohort of new apprentices each year. We recently caught up with MFRS Apprenticeship Manager, Ashley Roberts and a number of the apprentices who gave us a detailed insight about being an apprentice for what is an integral emergency service.
