We have a number of ways you can get involved including: INDUSTRY PLACEMENTS Industry placements are essentially work experience opportunities for a young person to develop first-hand experience of the world of work. There are a range of options to suit businesses with a regular day a week or a number of full-time weeks. DELIVERING A MASTERCLASS Employers can visit the College and impart their industry knowledge and know-how through a masterclass, work shop or presentation. ATTENDING A CAREERS EVENT We hold an annual Careers Fair at Preston College and are always looking for employers to attend and provide learners with an opportunity to find out more about the careers that are open to them after college. REAL-LIFE PROJECTS Our learners are developing skills in the classroom and are enthusiastic about putting what they learn into practice. If you have a project that would benefit from some fresh ideas and energy then you could present this challenge to our learners and potentially unlock some creative solutions. INDUSTRY VISITS If time and resources are short, then why not consider inviting learners to visit your premises so they can see a business in action and develop their understanding of their industry.
