It was more appealing to me due to the opportunity to use what I am learning in college and to then apply it in the workplace. “The apprenticeship has allowed me to develop my functional knowledge about accounting as well as my professional and work-based skills. “I am looking forward to completing my AAT at the first opportunity and then progress onto ACA to develop my knowledge and understanding further.” Olivia Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting at MHA Moore and Smalley “I chose to do an accountancy apprenticeship because it looked to be a better option for me than going to university. The apprenticeship has allowed me to develop my skills in many ways and I have access to the best possible support from my tutor. I am also gaining the experience I need to go further in the industry. “The apprenticeship has allowed me to develop key skills, especially my communication skills. I would like to continue my apprenticeship with MHA Moore and Smalley and progress onto the ACA or ACCA qualification.” the AAT Employer Scheme, MHA Moore and Smalley are proud to have 18 apprentices completing their AAT apprenticeship with Preston College. “Our apprentices are supported with their studies at Preston College by experienced tutors, whilst internally, our extensive student training plan, competency framework and experienced student mentors ensure that our students receive the very best support to achieve their AAT qualifications.
