This one day course is ideal for those requiring key basic health and safety information. A short but highly informative course, it is suitable for individuals working in a variety of sectors and roles, looking to improve their understanding of essential health and safety practice.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

You will be assessed via a multi-format question paper and three hazard spotting exercises. All activities must be successfully passed for the qualification to be achieved.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?

Successful completion of the course provides opportunities for staff to take their health and safety learning further, with progression opportunities at Preston’s College including the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal entry requirements. Working Safely is for people at any level, in any sector, who need a grounding in the essentials of safety and health. It gives everyone at work an understanding of why they must 'work safely'- and does so in an enjoyable but informative way.
