The Level 2 Understanding Behaviour That Challenges Certificate will increase your knowledge and awareness of behaviour that challenges and its effects. It centres around verbal, non-verbal and physically challenging behaviour and distinguishes between aggressive and assertive behaviour.
You will explore reasons, symptoms, interpretation and patterns of behaviour that may escalate, as well as learning proactive strategies that can promote and support positive behaviour.
This course is suitable for those looking to increase their knowledge, you will develop in-depth knowledge of understanding challenging behaviour and is of particular use to those working in educational settings.
Through a variety of learning methods you will complete four knowledge based units and to secure the qualification, you must pass all units.
Successful completion of the course will allow you to progress into employment or onto the same or higher (L2/L3) level programme in a similar area.
