This programme is designed to develop outstanding teachers using evidence-based teaching and learning methodologies. Employing a mixture of academic study and practical teaching experience, you will develop skills as an effective, autonomous, reflective practitioner able to help students achieve their full potential.

The course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to plan and deliver effective learning through innovative approaches to teaching using technology in the classroom, building on contemporary philosophies to plan curriculum that encourages and promotes inclusivity.

The theory and principles of educational practice are taught alongside more practical tools such as behaviour management, in a group of other students from a range of subject areas and specialisms. This provides opportunities to share and learn in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Courses are offered on a part-time basis, to fit around work and other commitments.

You will be assessed via a range of methods, including coursework, assignments, teaching practice, successful observations and reflections.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?
