The IOSH Managing Safely course is suitable for managers, supervisors and employees with specific health and safety duties or those looking to enhance their knowledge of health and safety management. This course will help individuals to get up to speed on the practical actions that they need to take and develop their knowledge and skills to tackle the safety and health issues they are responsible for. Achieving the internationally recognised IOSH Managing Safely certificate demonstrates a clear commitment to good standards of health and safety, benefiting both the employer and employee.

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, you will be awarded a Managing Safely certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) – the world’s largest health and safety membership organisation.

How will I be taught?

This is a practical programme that focuses on business with step-by-step guidance on managing safely. The highly innovative format and content engages and inspires individuals, helping them to really think about what they are learning, empowering them to put what they have learnt into practice when they are back in the workplace.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is through a 45 minute written paper consisting of 20 multi questions and a practical risk assessment project.

What can I do next?

Successful completion of this course allows progression to a NEBOSH qualification.

There is are no formal entry requirements for this course, however it is designed for managers, supervisors and employees with specific health and safety duties.
