Maths and English in Health and Social Care

Whether a Support Worker responsible for the care of others or a medical professional with responsibilities for dispensing and administering medication, maths and English play a fundamental role in all aspects of Heath and Social Care. With accountability for the care and safety of others, the ability to calculate accurately, write concisely and prioritise a series of tasks is essential.
