OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - (BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR APPRENTICE LEVEL 3)

We are looking for someone to take up a role which will be as an Operations Assistant within our team.  You will join our team at an exciting time and will be learning all about our systems and how we do things.

It is mainly an office based role but you will visit sites, learn about our systems and suppport us on surveying jobs and then provide reports for our customers.

We envisage this role turning into a permnanent role and it would suit someone who has an eye for detail and is willing to learn in a technical style role.

You will also provide administrative support to the company Director, Senior Administrator and other members of staff as part of your role.

DUTIES

This is not a typical office assistant amdinistration job role.  Duties will include managing reception by routing office communications, typing letters and emails, preserving office records, gathering information, organising diaries, handling guests / client, typing, scanning, copying, ordering supplies, scheduling engineer appointments, managing customer portals but the role is an Operations Assistant job roles will include learning CAD, Coding, different systems all whilst learning on the job.

WORKING HOURS PER WEEK

Monday - Friday (30 mins unpaid lunch break) 37 hours per week

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Good interpersonal / communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good IT knowledge / skills 
  • Report writing - So a good level of written English would be advantageous.

  • Be able to represent the organisation positively
  • A driving lience / car would help, but there is a bus stop locally.
