Preston’s College are able to offer bricklaying courses for adults at level 1, level 2 and level 3.
The level 1 course provides a fantastic introduction to the subject and is ideal for those considering a career in the sector, as well as those keen to develop basic skills for DIY and home improvement purposes.
Under the guidance of our industry experienced tutors you will develop the key practical skills and knowledge needed to build block, brick and cavity walls, with progression opportunities, upon successful completion, to level 2.
As part of the level 2 programme you will develop higher level skills in building brick and block walls and will also develop brickwork bond skills, alongside the study of a range of other units.
Level 3 opportunities are available to those working in industry, by way of the Trowel Occupations (Bricklaying) NVQ Diploma, which could be free if you don’t already hold a level 3 qualification (or higher), are aged 24+ and live in Lancashire!
