Progressing to a PhD Research Associate, having undertaken additional MSc and PhD study, Sharon’s love for teaching led her to a PGCE at Edge Hill University. Successfully completing the course, Sharon worked as a Science teacher in schools for over 16 years before making the move to Further Education in 2018. SCIENCE Now teaching on four courses at Preston College, from GCSE to HNC Applied Science, Sharon loves teaching adults, commenting: “Adult learners have a real passion for the subject, plus extra motivation to want to learn as much as possible.
