16 APPLY NOW: WWW. PRESTON .AC.UK Jasmine joined the Level 2 Hairdressing course as an adult to refresh her skills, having initially studied a hairdressing qualification straight from school. After the birth of her children, one of whom suffers from ill-health, Jasmine took time out to focus on her family but decided that now was the right time to focus on a career she has always loved. The long period of time out of the education sector meant that the Level 2 qualification was the perfect opportunity for Jasmine to refresh and upskill, with the course providing additional opportunities to work on real clients and enter competitions. Already a Concept Hair Competition finalist, Jasmine enjoys the energy in the classes and is learning from highly experienced tutors who are always happy to help. Stating “the smile that a good hair experience puts onto clients’ faces” as being a particular highlight of what she does, Jasmine is looking forward to completing her course and progressing with more salon work.
