Vivian says, “Video itself is a fun thing to be involved in because it is practical and allows me to work as part of a team to tell a story, engage and inspire viewers. Lianne quickly impressed staff at Preston College and was offered a Curriculum Support Technician role, one day per week, which she undertook alongside her studies. In order to enrol on the course, Sue was advised that she would need maths and English at grade 4 (previously a grade C) or above. Sue enrolled onto the Level 1 Functional Skills course, where she achieved 100%. Progressing onto Level 2 and fast tracking to the assessment, Sue successfully applied for the Veterinary Nurse apprenticeship, which she is now working towards.
