It can also be financially rewarding as there is a consistent demand for these services which in turn, increases employment opportunities. As a Beauty Therapist you will find yourself working in one of the largest, most trusted, professional and continually expanding industries within the sector. The work environment can vary in size, style and ambiance; from cruise ships, through to small bespoke salons or luxury high end beauty salons and spas. Similarly, as a Hair Professional and working in a salon, you will learn job specific skills, earn a wage and attend College once a week to gain your qualification. You will meet new people and build up regular clients providing advanced services such as colouring, cutting and styling hair. Both professions require a good understanding of health and safety as well as a technical understanding of the products used.
