ICT AND DIGITAL MARKETING > Digital Support Technician L3 > Digital Marketer L3 IT and Digital Marketing are some of the most dynamic and fast moving industry sectors within the UK, with new technology constantly being explored and developed. Apprentices in these sectors will acquire sales, customer service and highly technical, digital and creative skills. The broad purpose of a Digital Support Technician is to maximise the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software and digital communications, including collaborative technologies and digital information systems. Apprentices will select one of the following two options: A Digital Applications Technician; to help their organisation and its internal users to maximise the use of digital or A Digital Service Technician; to support the external customers and clients of their organisation though a wide variety of digital channels. A Digital Marketer’s primary role is to define, design, build and implement digital marketing campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention. appsinfo@preston.ac.uk 01772 225522
