You can work anywhere in the world in a variety of settings including travel agencies, airports, hotels, holiday resorts and visitor attractions such as theme parks, zoos, and stately homes. In terms of events, you could be organising small scale fundraisers, parties in the park, festivals, or weddings. Both sectors are customer facing so you’ll need to be good with people and have great communication skills. At Preston College you will have opportunities to go on various trips and work experience placements. You will also hear from guest speakers working in the industry. These enrichment and extra-curricular activities are built into your Study Programme to enhance university applications and CVs.
