Preston College Dance (PCD) has over 30 years’ experience of training Dancers, Dance Teachers and Performers and attracts talented performers from across the UK. Based within the Visual & Performing Arts building, our industry standard facilities include five modern dance studios with sprung harlequin flooring, three drama and voice coaching studios, music editing suites, TV studio and fully functioning 100 seat theatre.
Our mission is to nurture each individual and provide training and qualifications, leading to a sustainable career in this challenging and rewarding industry.
Students have the opportunity to take vocational examinations with the ISTD and all units of the Diploma in Dance Instruction and the Diploma in Dance Education are available to study. There is also the opportunity to study maths and English if you do not have a GCSE grade 4 or above.
PCD’s teaching staff are experienced industry professionals that will help shape your skills and employability in preparation for the next stage of your career. We also run a range of enrichment activities including choreography competition, industry workshops, trip to New York and London Residential and Move It.
