From Teams and Zoom meetings, to advanced spreadsheet data manipulation and photograph editing, there is much more to IT than basic word processing. At Preston College we are proud to offer a variety of qualifications for all levels of ICT abilities. Absolute beginners will find Entry Level Digital Skills not only provide the skills and knowledge needed to undertake essential IT tasks confidently, but do so in a supportive learning environment with groups of likeminded individuals and vast levels of tutor support. All of our ICT qualifications require an assessment prior to enrolment to determine the right level of study for each applicant. An assessment will be arranged when an application is submitted and must be undertaken before an enrolment is processed. COMPUTING & IT If you live in Lancashire but don’t currently hold an Essential Digital Skills qualification, our Entry 3 and Level 1 Digital Skills courses will be available to you, fully funded by the Government. The courses are offered at various points throughout the year, with flexible study options to fit around home and work commitments.
