HNC PROJECT AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT Awarded by: University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) THIS HNC: The HNC Project and Quality Management will improve your ability to support others in project delivery and is ideal for those looking to develop their careers. Studying six modules throughout the course, you will learn how to plan, manage and control a project, including scope, quality, scheduling, budget, resourcing and risk. The course also covers project management tools and techniques, marketing, principles of quality management, the legislative environment and business maths and statistics, alongside stakeholder engagement. Will real focus on a variety of management techniques and the applications required to plan and implement tasks, successful completion of this HNC will allow you to translate and apply theory to practical work solutions for a host of businesses. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Preston College operates a flexible admissions policy, welcoming applicants with a wide range of qualifications and/or experience, with each application assessed on its own merit. We also recognise prior learning/attainment (RPL) and experience, meaning it may be possible to map some of your existing qualifications against the modules for the HNC Project and Quality Management qualification. If this applies to you, we will discuss this with you at the interview stage. For students who have recently been in education, we would expect an applicant to have one of the following: A-Levels: At least two A-level in an appropriate subject area (equivalent to 72 UCAS points) BTEC Extended Diploma: Level 3 in Project and Quality Management or similar discipline at grade MMP or higher BTEC Diploma: Level 3 in Project and Quality Management or similar discipline at grade DM or higher Pass Access Course: Pass Level 3 Access to Higher Education Diploma in a related subject International Baccalaureate: H7 Other qualifications or requirements: An NVQ diploma or equivalent competence based qualification Applicants with industrial experience will be considered on a case by case basis for this course IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in each skills area) PLUS GCSE: English and Maths GCSE grade 4 (formerly grade C) or equivalent Other qualification/ requirements: 3-4 years of industry experience is desirable The previous cohort on this HNC secured a 100% achievement rate, with 80% achieving a distinction grade! 50
