The Automotive Technologies department offers practical training in purpose-built workshops, a fleet of training vehicles, including both cars and motorcycles, and access to industry-experienced tutors.

Whether you're just starting out or aiming for an industry-recognised Level 3 qualification, our courses are designed to meet your needs. Many of our tutors have worked as Chief Mechanics in prestigious sectors, including the British Touring Car Championships, bringing industry knowledge and insight into every session. You'll develop essential skills in vehicle diagnostics, routine repair, maintenance on engines, tyres, brakes, and electrical and transmission systems.
