Installation of Electric Vehicle Charge Points – Level 3 Award
Date TBC
This course is aimed at qualified and practicing electricians who wish to continue their professional development in the field of electric vehicle charging design and installation.
Hybrid Vehicle & Electrical Vehicle Maintenance, Repair and Replacement
– Level 2/3
Tues 26, Wed 27 and Thurs 28 May, 9am – 4pm
This course is aimed at qualified and practising automotive mechanics, looking to explore the operation, maintenance, and technology of hybrid and electric vehicles, developing practical skills and understanding their role in sustainable transport and reducing carbon emissions.
Green Skills Summit 2027 (Date TBC)
Plans for the 2027 Green Skills Summit are currently underway, and while a date hasn’t been confirmed yet, we’ll be sure to share updates as soon as they’re announced—so stay tuned!

In terms of person eligibility for the project
- Unemployed, living in Preston City Council boundary = 100% eligible
- Employed within Preston City Council boundary, living in Preston City Council boundary = 100% eligible
- Employed outside of Preston City Council (but within Lancashire), living in Preston City Council boundary
- Employed within Preston City Council boundary, living outside of Preston City Council boundary (but within Lancashire)
