Housed in the impressive iSTEM Centre, the Automotive Technologies department at Preston College provides students with access to purpose-built workshops, an array of vehicles and immediate access to industry-experienced tutors, allowing you to apply your newly learned theory and skills into practice on demonstration cars and motorcycles. 

Whether you're just starting out or aiming for advanced, industry-standard Level 3 qualifications, our courses are designed to meet your needs. Our tutors, many of whom have served as Chief Mechanics in prestigious industries, including the British Touring Car Championships, bring invaluable experience to your learning. You'll gain practical skills in vehicle repair, routine maintenance on engines, tyres, brakes, and electrical and transmission systems.
