Promoting the welfare of our learners and providing a safe environment in which you can achieve your potential is extremely important to us.
We have a Safeguarding, Child Protection and Prevent Policy and a supplementary set of procedures. This includes our obligation under the Prevent Duty (Sept 2015) to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism.
To ensure our learners stay safe online, we use a series of measures including a fully secured network, eSafety induction and the installation of eSafe software on all learner PC’s.
Our College Safeguarding Team deals with any safeguarding issues and works with external agencies to promote the welfare of anyone in need of additional support.
Learners can talk to their Student Manager, the Campus Cohesion Officer or a member of the Safeguarding team.
