Preston College has a successful track record of serving the construction industry’s training needs over many years. We have worked with businesses of all sizes to address their skills shortages and deliver effective training solutions.

Who Can Benefit from Training?
The training offered covers a wide range of skills at all levels. Our programmes range from Apprenticeships for new entrants to industry, through to On Site Assessment & Training (OSAT) for the more experienced worker. We can also offer a range of commercial short courses and qualifications to meet industry requirements – e.g. CSCS.
Does All Training Take Place at Preston College?
Whilst we offer a wide range of courses at Preston College, much of our training can be delivered wholly in the workplace, delivered at a time to suit your business needs.
What Funding is Available?
Funding available depends on the circumstances of your company and the individuals being trained. We work closely with CITB to ensure companies benefit from available grants. We can also access funding through the Government’s Train to Gain initiative. In all cases we will explore the funding opportunities available in order to minimise the cost to your business. In many cases we are able to source full funding for training.
How Can I Decide the Best Training Route for My Staff?
The College has an experienced team, many with significant construction experience. Our colleagues will be happy to visit your business and advise on all available options.
