APPRENTICE ROOFER

40 hours per week

Roofing Techniques:

• Learn and apply various roofing techniques, including installation, repair, and maintenance of  different roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal.

Tool Proficiency:

• Master the use of essential roofing tools, including hammers, roofing nailers, saws, utility knives, and measuring devices.

Safety Procedures:

• Adhere too and promote safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and awareness of potential hazards.

Reading plans:

• Interpret and understand construction roofing plans to effectively carry out roofing projects.

Mathematical Skills:

• Perform basic mathematical calculations for measuring, cutting materials, estimating quantities, and ensuring accurate roof dimensions.

Physical Stamina:

• Endure physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.

Attention to Detail:

• Pay close attention to details to ensure precision in measurements, cutting, and installation, preventing leaks and other issues.

Problem-Solving:
