Role within our existing site office at Springfields Nuclear Facility, Salwick, Preston supporting with the ongoing Engineering Projects portfolio of work.

Administrative Support:

  • Handling emails, post, and internal communications
  • Organising files, maintaining records, and archiving documents
  • Taking meeting minutes and preparing agendas
  • Compiling project cost records
  • Document Control support on live projects
  • Maintaining training records and liaising with the central training team
  • Completing the site employees weekly timesheets
  • Registering delivery notes and booking goods in on our procurement system
  • Preparing and checking security clearance packs

Organisational Tasks:

  • Diary management and arranging meetings or appointments
  • Booking travel, accommodation and preparing expenses for submission.
  • Supporting event planning

IT and Data:

  • Inputting, processing, and managing data
  • Using software like Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Managing digital and paper filing systems

Communication:

  • Dealing with internal and external enquiries (phone, email, face-to-face)
  • Supporting customer service or reception duties

Project and Team Support:

  • Assisting with projects
  • Monitoring supplies and ordering equipment
  • Liaising with colleagues and external partners

39 hours per week - 07:30 until 16:30 Mon to Thu. 07:30 until 12:30 Fri - 30 minutes unpaid lunch
