LEVEL 1 VOCATIONAL STUDIES
If you are unsure about your next step, then the Level 1 in Vocational Studies is ideal. You can try out a range of subjects before deciding on the right one to progress onto Level 2.
There are two pathways available on the Level 1 in Vocational Studies, the Service Industries pathway and the Business and Digital pathway. At enrolment, you will choose which pathway you would like to study. Your chosen pathway will include the subjects listed below and additional core units to develop your skills including Maths, English, Personal Development, Employability Skills, Working with Others, and Researching a Topic.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I COMPLETE MY COURSE?
• During your programme, you will have regular meetings with your Student Manager to see
if you are ‘progression ready’
• At the end of your course you will choose which subject you’d like to study at Level 2
• You could also go on to study an Apprenticeship at Level 2.
