Watch: Learn more about Apprenticeships

With National Apprenticeship Week 2019 in full swing, we think it’s a good time to give our apprenticeships video a second run!

Featuring Leyland Truck, Harrison Drury and Taylor Wimpey, the film provides you with more information about apprenticeships and also how apprentices can benefit the employer!

Apprenticeships are quickly becoming a popular alternative to A-Level and Higher Education study, with young people preferring to gain their qualifications whilst gaining hands on experience and an annual salary versus potential student debt.

The opportunity to learn on-the-job, gain a salary, build industry experience and minimise student debt is too good to miss.

Preston’s College offers Apprenticeships across a range of sectors including: Accounting, Automotive Technologies, Beauty Therapy, Business, Childcare (Early Years), Computing & IT, Construction, Dental Nursing, Engineering, Gas Services, Hairdressing & Barbering, Health & Social Care, Leadership & Management, Marketing, Pharmacy Services and Science.

We also have a range of current apprenticeship vacacnies available in the local area HERE.

For more information about Apprenticeships, contact the college on 01772 22 55 22 or email info@preston.ac.uk

The video has been funded by Future U, a collaborative project bringing together universities, colleges, schools and businesses from across Lancashire. Future U is part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) which supports young people to progress into Higher Education (HE) in areas where it has been identified HE participation of young people is much lower than expected.
